AIS Infrastructure (AIS Infrastructure) is serving as the General Contractor for the construction of the Richland Creek Reservoir, located in Paulding County, Georgia as part of the Richland Creek Water Supply Program. Once complete, the 125 ft. tall, 4,150 ft. long earthen dam will be the largest of its type in the state of Georgia. AIS Infrastructure (AIS Infrastructure) has played a part in the construction of this dam extending well beyond simple earthwork activities. AIS Infrastructure has performed clearing and grubbing of over 200 acres, diversion of Richland Creek, undercut and backfill of ~86,500 CY of material, installation of a 48” DIP Raw Water Pipe, installation of a 120 ft. tall concrete outlet structure and pre-fabricated bridge, as well as the pouring of a 1,200 LF concrete cutoff wall and installation of a 2,100 LF grout curtain.
